📍Event Venue

- Kindly be aware that there are two Pan Pacific Hotels in Singapore, so ensure you plan for the correct location.
🛃 Visa Requirements
The application process for a visa to enter Singapore is the responsibility of each traveller. Due to time constraints we kindly ask you to start the visa process as soon as possible. You can find more information about visa requirements here.
🏥 Public Health Requirements
There are no longer any COVID-19 measures for travellers arriving in Singapore, regardless of vaccination status or traveller profile. Check other public health requirements for entering Singapore here. Additionally, ensure you review your home country’s vaccination requirements for your return journey.
✈️ Airport
Changi Airport, Singapore’s main hub, is well-connected to the city center via public transport and taxis. As one of the busiest airports globally, it hosts over 100 airlines flying to 400 cities and offers a range of exceptional activities and amenities. - Before Arrival – Submit Singapore Arrival Card and Declarations
Travellers are to submit the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) and the necessary Physical Currency and Bearer Negotiable Instruments (CBNI) declarations electronically if you are carrying more than S$20,000 in total value of CBNI, or its equivalent in a foreign currency.
Submission of SGAC is free and can be done via the SGAC e-Service or MyICA Mobile app. Please refer to SGAC with Electronic Health Declaration for more information. As for more information on CBNI, please refer to ICA’s website.
- Before Arrival – Security and Immigration Processes
Be sure to review the customs requirements and take care not to bring any prohibited items (including chewing gum) into Singapore.
- Upon Arrival
Visitors can use iris, facial and fingerprint biometrics for swift immigration at airport terminals or land checkpoints once enrolled at manual counters. Upon clearing immigration, an electronic visit pass (e-pass) will be sent to the email address registered in your SGAC submission. This e-Pass has replaced the arrival stamp endorsement issued to visitors.
🚉 Transportation
- Public transportation is efficient and reliable, with options like the MRT (subway) and buses for getting around. You may download the Singapore MRT map, which offers a comprehensive overview of the MRT system.
- Google Maps has good coverage of Singapore, including transport information, so you may use it to navigate your way.
- Mass Rapid Transit Map: for convenient navigation throughout the city, you may download the MyTransport App for public transport routes and timings.
🚌 Travelling to the Event Venue
Mode of transport to and from the event venue:
1. Train (Mass Rapid Transit System – MRT)
- Nearest MRT station to Pan Pacific Singapore is Promenade Station, on the MRT Circle Line.
- You will need an EZ-link card to travel on the MRT, and they can be purchase from MRT stations, bus interchanges and 7-eleven stores.
- Alternatively, you can use credit/debit cards that has contactless payment functions – ApplePay and Samsung Pay is accepted
2. Bus
- The closest bus stop to Pan Pacific Singapore is Bus Stop 02089
- Buses that service this stop are: 106,56, 961M, 97, 36
- You can download ‘Singabus’ from App Store or Google Play to check on bus arrival timing(s).
3. Taxi
- Taxis are readily available and can be hailed from designated taxi stands located around the city.
- There are also ride hailing apps such as Grab, Gojek, and CDG Zig which you can utilize to book a taxi ahead of time
- Staff members at Pan Pacific Singapore can also help you call a taxi should you require one

Health and Safety
Singapore is generally considered a safe destination with a low crime rate. However, remember to take basic precautions such as safeguarding your belongings and staying aware of your surroundings. It is recommended to have travel insurance that covers medical expenses in case of emergencies.
Weather in November
November is considered one of the wettest months in Singapore, with frequent heavy downpours and thunderstorms. Average temperature ranges from 24°C to 31°C. Pack light clothing and an umbrella to prepare for sudden showers.
Time Zone
Singapore is in the Singapore Standard Time (SGT) timezone which is UTC +8. Make sure to adjust your watch and schedule accordingly.
Electricity and Power Plug
The standard voltage in Singapore is 220-240 volts and the standard frequency is 50Hz. Power outlets in Singapore usually have a three-pin plug, so bring a universal adapter if needed.
Safe Drinking Water
Tap water in Singapore surpasses World Health Organization standards. You can drink water straight from the source or easily purchase bottled water from local stores.
Smoking Area
Smoking is prohibited in buildings, retail food establishments, transport nodes, public service vehicles, and sports facilities. Designated smoking areas are marked with notices or signs. Refer to NEA for the full list of prohibited smoking areas.
Language
Most Singaporeans are fluent in English and many also speak Mandarin Chinese, Malay or Tamil. You may also encounter Singlish, a unique colloquial form of English that blends with various languages and dialects spoken in Singapore.
Prayer Facilities
Singapore is a Muslim-friendly destination with prayer facilities available at major hotels and attractions, and mosques conveniently located around the city.
Wi-Fi
Visitors can access free Wi-Fi at any Wireless@SGx hotspot with their foreign mobile numbers by downloading the Wireless@SGx App. Overseas charges may apply.

Money and Payments
- Currency: the official currency in Singapore is the Singapore Dollar (SGD). Make sure to have some cash on hand for small purchases or in case credit cards are not accepted.
- Payment Methods: tap and go to enjoy the convenience of using credit cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, contactless payment and other options for seamless transactions.
- Tipping: while tipping is not customary, should you experience good service, you are encouraged to do so.
